Celebrating One Year of Mughal: A Culinary Journey into Mughlai Cuisine
Mughal Indian Restaurant, located in Komagome, proudly celebrates its first anniversary, marking a remarkable milestone since its grand opening on August 29, 2026. Owned by Abracadabra Co., Ltd., led by Yukiko Khan, this restaurant has become a cherished spot for locals and visitors seeking authentic halal Indian cuisine.
To express gratitude to its patrons, Mughal will offer a special anniversary menu on August 29th and 30th, featuring an array of Mughlai delights, including the ever-popular
Nihari and
Haleem, cooked to perfection and available in a unique special thali for just 3,500 yen. This exquisite thali includes tender, slow-cooked beef shank, five types of beans with melt-in-your-mouth mutton, fragrant tandoori chicken, ghee rice, freshly baked kulcha, salad, and a choice of one drink. Guests can savor the essence of Mughal cuisine in a luxurious way, whether dining alone or with family and friends.
Mughal Komagome serves as the second establishment following the Waseda location, which opened in the summer of 2025. The restaurant specializes in East Indian cuisine, particularly Mughlai dishes that have evolved over centuries within royal kitchens. Here, diners can experience a wide variety of traditional Indian curries, comforting stews, and large shared platters designed to bring friends and family together around the table.
The restaurant accommodates approximately 45 to 50 guests, providing a comfortable space for both groups and individuals. In its commitment to inclusivity, Mughal welcomes everyone, transcending national and cultural boundaries. Each dish serves halal ingredients, and no alcoholic beverages are available, ensuring a dining experience that respects diverse backgrounds and preferences. Whether residents or tourists, those who need halal options can join their companions without the discomfort of choosing separate menus.
