Mammut Launches 2026 Fall-Winter Collection with Eco-Friendly Initiatives

Mammut's 2026 Fall-Winter Collection Launch

On July 30, Mammut proudly unveiled its 2026 Fall-Winter Collection alongside the launch of its environmental campaign, "Together For Glaciers." Founded in 1862 in Switzerland as a rope manufacturer, Mammut has built over 160 years of history, consistently delivering innovative outdoor apparel and gear that elevate the ultimate outdoor experience.

Mammut's brand motto, "Rise with the Mountain – Life is a Challenge," reflects its commitment to supporting individuals' growth through challenges by offering high-performance products and new concepts. The brand's dedication to environmental responsibility has become a driving force, given the increasing impact of climate change, particularly the melting of glaciers in the Swiss Alps.

With the recent launch campaign, Mammut aims to address the critical climate crisis exacerbated by glacier retreat. The iconic Aletsch Glacier, once accessible via a rock and ice path, now requires an additional 200-meter metal staircase due to significant ice melt, marking a dramatic change in the Alpine landscape. The alarming rate of glacier melting has reached a staggering one meter per year, a pace that continues to accelerate due to global warming.

In recent years, Mammut has positioned the realization of a sustainable society as a core issue in its business activities. The company actively works on reducing CO2 emissions from its operations and supply chain while also focusing on minimizing the environmental impact associated with product manufacturing. Further, through information dissemination, Mammut aims to increase public awareness about environmental issues and climate change, driving efforts toward finding solutions. This campaign showcases the company's eco-friendly initiatives and introduces environmentally conscious products for the fall-winter season. With top-quality products that enhance outdoor experiences, Mammut remains committed to connecting nature with future generations.

The launch date also coincides with the release of the "Responsibility Report 2025," detailing Mammut's sustainability efforts. The report features the cover image of Yuka Kobayashi, a Mammut athlete. Interested readers can view the report here.

Upcoming Event at Mammut Shinjuku

On July 30, Mammut Shinjuku will host an event focusing on footwear care, with a guest speaker from Vibram Japan. The session will cover essential knowledge about shoe soles and maintenance, providing attendees with expert tips on how to prolong the life of their footwear. Participants can also get answers to their footwear-related queries and will receive a special novelty item as a takeaway. Note that this event is exclusive to Mammut Members Club members, and pre-registration is required.

Mammut's Environmental Initiatives

Mammut has launched various innovative products while emphasizing environmentally responsible production methods. Starting back in 1994 with the introduction of RECYCLED ECO FLEECE, the brand has focused on improving labor conditions and collaborating with environmental organizations. Social and environmental responsibility has been a part of their business strategy since 2006, and recent collaboration with experts and organizations like Fair Wear Foundation and bluesign® continues to enforce their commitment to responsible supply chains.

In 2018, Mammut became a leading signatory of the UN's Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, making climate crisis a top priority in its strategic goals. In 2023, Mammut partnered with Climeworks, introducing carbon removal initiatives into their operations.

Mammut has also innovated a new synthetic insulation, "Mammut LOOPINSULATION," made from rope manufacturing waste. This initiative repurposes discarded ropes into high-performance insulation material through a combination with recycled plastics. Such products create added value from materials that would otherwise have been wasted, promoting resource circulation.

Campaign Highlighted Products

During the "Together For Glaciers" campaign, Mammut presents a selection of products that embody its commitment to environmental sustainability:
