Currently, a staggering 65% of the cubicles installed domestically have surpassed the recommended 15-year renewal period, which has become a critical challenge due to their deteriorating condition. The degradation of these facilities poses a serious risk not only to the facilities themselves but also to the surrounding areas, potentially leading to power outages or ripple accidents. Such incidents could result in substantial compensation costs or even business halts.

In addition, compliance with safety management laws regarding electricity and unexpected repair expenses that can reach millions pose significant burdens on operators. Through the Cospa Power Cube Up service, Off-Grid Lab aims to mitigate these business risks while promoting energy autonomy based on local production and consumption. This initiative will support the adoption of renewable energy, including solar power and storage batteries, facilitating the development of a next-generation energy infrastructure anchored in local communities.

Overview and Features of Cospa Power Cube Up

Cospa Power Cube Up allows customers to transfer ownership and installation responsibilities of their current cubicles to Energy Connect, along with maintenance, repair, and management services. The service includes the following three benefits:

1. Zero Initial Costs and Repair Cost Stabilization
Customers can utilize the service without any initial costs, paying a monthly fee based on a secure 15-year contract. Repair and replacement costs for parts falling within the service scope are included in the monthly fee. This alleviates the burden of unexpected repair expenses due to aging equipment and contributes to stabilizing cash flow.

2. Risk Off-Balance Sheet via Ownership Transfer
By transferring ownership and installation responsibilities, customers can reduce the operational burden and risks associated with high voltage receiving equipment, such as ripple accidents. This approach allows for smoother operations while minimizing anxiety over potential mishaps.

3. Seamless Transition Utilizing Existing Equipment
Users can transition to the service while retaining their current cubicles. This service also lessens the burden associated with selecting and coordinating contractors during malfunctions, leading to a stress-free operational experience. Additionally, customers can benefit from proposals that combine energy cost-saving measures offered through the group's high voltage power service, Cospa Power.
