Purpose of the Seminar
In April 2026, the Association compiled its strategies concerning AI agents in manufacturing. Since August 2025, the forum chaired by Professor Takeda has facilitated discussions among experts and stakeholders. The objective is to maximize the expected effects of AI agents on manufacturing development and production, through adequate preparation for implementation and operation while tackling associated concerns and risks.
During the seminar, key points will be presented and discussed, including:
1. Expected effects of utilizing AI agents and considerations to keep in mind;
2. Case studies of how AI agents can connect with physical systems;
3. The forefront of applications in other countries and the challenges faced in Japan;
4. Legal considerations regarding potential infringements by third parties.
