The study highlights the effectiveness of its blockchain-based age-gating system that aims to prevent underage access to vaping products. This innovative system employs Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology coupled with biometric authentication, representing a major leap in public health safeguards.

Study Highlights

Carried out with over 100 diverse participants, the study evaluated the usability and safety of the IKE System. Participants were tasked with downloading the accompanying app, verifying their age, and engaging with devices enabled by BLE technology. Remarkably, all users successfully completed age verification while underage participants failed to activate the devices, showcasing a flawless 100% effectiveness rate in controlling access. More importantly, devices were automatically deactivated after a signaling lapse, further enhancing security protocols.
