A Leader with Proven Experience
Jim Mazany is recognized as a veteran leader in the restaurant sector, possessing a robust track record in scaling brands, enhancing operational performance, and enriching guest experiences. He has previously held prominent roles such as Chairman and CEO of Rosa Mexicano, Yardbird, and Shell Shack, where he not only spearheaded significant brand expansions but also improved operational efficiencies as the Operating Partner at TriSpan Capital, a private equity firm.
Mazany's past leadership also extends to his role as CEO of SPB Hospitality, overseeing several prominent dining establishments including J. Alexander's and Logan's Roadhouse, and guiding them towards substantial growth and profitability. His tenure at Joe's Crab Shack is especially noteworthy, wherein he led a turnaround strategy, achieving seven consecutive years of same-store sales growth across 140 locations.
Goals for P.F. Chang's
As he steps into the role at P.F. Chang's, Mazany is set to prioritize several ambitious goals aimed at driving consistent same-store sales growth. He intends to leverage compelling dining experiences and a solid value proposition to attract both loyal patrons and new customers. Furthermore, Mazany is dedicated to accelerating domestic and international restaurant developments, alongside expanding initiatives regarding consumer packaged goods (CPG). By refining these areas, P.F. Chang's aims to remain relevant in a competitive landscape while honoring its culinary heritage.
