Ferrero Group Sees Growth With Increased Turnover and New Innovations in 2024/2025 Financial Year

The Ferrero Group has announced promising results from its 2024/2025 financial year, highlighting a continued trajectory of growth and innovation. Under the leadership of Executive Chairman Giovanni Ferrero and Chief Executive Officer Lapo Civiletti, the company has reported a consolidated turnover of EUR 19.3 billion, reflecting a 4.6% increase compared to the previous year. This success is attributed to Ferrero's strategic initiatives focusing on portfolio expansion and continuous innovation.

The company's robust performance is complemented by significant capital investments, totaling nearly EUR 1.1 billion in the latest financial year, alongside its strategic acquisition of WK Kellogg Co. This acquisition, completed in September 2025, is expected to bolster Ferrero’s capabilities and market presence in the breakfast cereal segment across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. With the integration of WK Kellogg Co., Ferrero now boasts a workforce exceeding 50,000 employees worldwide, further solidifying its global footprint.

In the past year, Ferrero has made concerted efforts to enhance its product portfolio. Notably, the company introduced Nutella Plant-based to meet growing consumer preferences, expanding the Nutella range into innovative categories such as frozen goods, with products like Nutella Crepes and Nutella Donut. The introduction of Tic Tac Two, a novel sugar-free dual-flavor option, reflects Ferrero's agility in responding to market trends. Additionally, the company expanded into high-protein snack offerings through the acquisition of Power Crunch, a renowned U.S. brand of wafer protein bars.

In terms of operational developments, Ferrero is strengthening its manufacturing presence in key markets. Notably, the Brantford, Ontario facility is being scaled up to create 500 new jobs, enabling the local production of Nutella Biscuits for the first time outside of Europe. In Bloomington, Illinois, a new Kinder Bueno facility was inaugurated, adding 200 more roles and enhancing production capacity by 169,000 square feet. In Europe, enhancements are also underway at the Villers-Écalles plant in northern France, which is celebrated as the largest Nutella production site globally, aiming to meet increasing demand efficiently.

As they mark 80 years of excellence, Ferrero remains committed to delivering quality products that bring joy to consumers worldwide. The company’s strategic focus on innovation and sustainable growth underscores its dedication to maintaining its esteemed reputation in the confectionery sector. Ferrero's blend of tradition, quality, and forward-thinking solutions positions it well for future success as it continues to explore new markets and product lines. The launch of local favorites into ice creams and the ongoing expansion into delectable and health-conscious options exemplify Ferrero's mantra of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
