Tetra Pak Japan Showcases Innovative Solutions at FOOMA JAPAN 2026

Tetra Pak Japan at FOOMA JAPAN 2026

Tetra Pak Japan, a leading supplier of food processing equipment and paper container packaging systems, will proudly participate in the prestigious FOOMA JAPAN 2026, the largest food manufacturing exhibition in the world. The event is scheduled to occur from June 2 to June 5, 2026, at the Tokyo Big Sight, located in Koto, Tokyo (Booth Number: E7-19-22).

In response to the increasing demand for automation and labor-saving solutions in food production, Tetra Pak Japan will present specific solutions that address these challenges from both equipment and digital perspectives. The exhibition aims to propose technologies that enhance productivity and efficiency while maintaining food safety and assurance.

Exhibition Overview

The theme for Tetra Pak's exhibit is “Towards a Sustainable Future in Food”. The focus will be on food processing machinery that achieves labor and energy savings. Visitors will discover solutions that contribute to improved production efficiency for food manufacturers while minimizing environmental impact.

Key Display Items:

  • - Tetra Pak® Homogenizer: This innovative device maximizes homogenization efficiency through its proprietary device (homogenizing head), operating at approximately 30% lower pressure compared to traditional methods. This advancement not only reduces energy consumption but also maintains high processing quality, thereby lowering operational costs.

  • - Tetra Pak® Centrifuge [First Reveal]: By employing an airtight technology, this fully sealed centrifuge prevents air inflow into the bowl, producing high-quality products with minimal free fats and impurities. It is capable of manufacturing high-concentration creams while minimizing sludge discharge through its advanced outflow control system, thereby reducing manufacturing losses.

  • - Tetra Pak® Heat Exchanger [Live Display Available]: Featuring a variety of types such as tubular and plate designs, this heat exchanger is optimized for the specific properties of different food products. Designed with maintenance ease in mind, it also helps reduce operator burden.

  • - Tetra Pak® Plant Components [Live Display Available] [First Reveal]:
- Tank Agitator: With a unique blade design that enhances stirring efficiency approximately four times over traditional methods, it significantly reduces energy consumption. Maintenance, which would typically take two people an entire day, can now be performed by one individual in about 30 minutes.
- Measuring Instruments: Equipped with Bluetooth functionality, these instruments allow for remote verification and settings adjustments, minimizing high-altitude tasks and cramped spaces, which enhances safety and operational efficiency.
- Steam Trap: This device incorporates all necessary components for installation and maintenance, ensuring easy setup and time savings. It effectively removes moisture from steam, preventing drain stagnation and ensuring stable clean steam supply.

  • - Tetra Prisma® Aseptic Container: Available in sizes ranging from 125ml to 1,000ml, this ambient distribution paper container features eight sides and 16 variations to enable significant product differentiation. It meets consumer needs for convenience and portion control, while also considering the drinking experience. This design is particularly suitable for the expanding market of protein drinks and other nutritional supplements, with samples available at the venue.
