The Rally Italia Sardegna 2025, part of the FIA World Rally Championship, concluded in Olbia, Italy, on June 8, 2025, with Hankook Tire playing a pivotal role in the event's success. This sixth round of the championship tested the resilience and capabilities of both drivers and their vehicles across a demanding course characterized by soaring temperatures and challenging terrain.

As temperatures soared above 30 degrees Celsius, participants faced an array of obstacles, including treacherous gravel tracks and dust clouds that obscured visibility. Over four intense days, drivers navigated through 16 special stages, amassing nearly 320 kilometers of tough, technical courses designed to push their skills to the limits.

Hankook's Dynapro R213 tire model stood as the backbone for the competitors, delivering outstanding grip, durability, and stability essential for conquering Sardinia's distinctive landscape. The tire was designed to withstand the harsh conditions, maintaining reliable performance throughout the grueling 16-stage event.

The intense competition saw celebrated rally driver Sébastien Ogier of the Toyota GAZOO Racing World Rally Team emerge victorious, narrowly defeating Ott Tänak of Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team by just 7.9 seconds. This victory marked Ogier's fifth win at Sardegna, solidifying his status as the event's most successful driver and a serious contender for the 2025 championship title.

Hankook Tire's commitment to excellence is evident in their extensive testing program, which since 2023 has evaluated their FIA-certified rally tires over 2,000 kilometers across eight different countries. With the start of the 2025 season, Hankook has secured its position as the exclusive tire supplier for all WRC classes for three years, a step that enhances the brand's reputation on a global scale.
