From April 18 to 20, 2025, the Hangzhou Equestrian Center hosted the much-anticipated FEI CSI2 2025 3rd Hangzhou International Equestrian Show Jumping Competition. This premier event marked the highest level of equestrian competition in Tonglu, a town well-regarded for its passionate community of equestrian enthusiasts, and served as a significant addition to the region's sporting calendar.
The event witnessed over 400 horse-rider pairs from 17 different countries, including prominent participants from Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the USA. It showcased more than 260 elite horses, demonstrating the quality and competitiveness of international equestrian sports. The Grand Prix 1.45M class, where Chinese rider Chen Yuchen made an impressive appearance, was particularly notable among the various thrilling competitions throughout the event.
Organized by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) in collaboration with the Chinese Equestrian Association, the event also had the support of the Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau and the Tonglu County People's Government.
