Argent Trust Company Welcomes New Leadership to Enhance North Texas Operations

Argent Trust Company Expands North Texas Team

Argent Trust Company, a prominent independent client asset services firm, has announced the expansion of its North Texas team with the appointment of two seasoned executives, Konrad S. Halbert and Aubrey K. Gideon, CTFA. This strategic move underscores Argent's commitment to enhance its fiduciary and wealth services across the region. Both executives are based in the Dallas office.

Konrad S. Halbert takes on the role of North Texas Regional Executive, while Aubrey K. Gideon steps in as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer. David Redding, who serves as the Texas Regional Executive and Market President, expressed excitement about Halbert and Gideon's joining the firm, emphasizing their extensive leadership experience and client relationships within the North Texas financial landscape.

Expertise and Vision

With over 25 years in trust and wealth management, Halbert is tasked with leading client service and business development initiatives. His experience includes a rich background in estate planning, fiduciary administration, and high-net-worth relationship management, which are critical assets for Argent's clientele. Before joining Argent, he held senior positions, including Regional President at First Financial Trust Asset Management Company, overseeing various locations such as Fort Worth, Houston, and Beaumont. Halbert holds both an undergraduate degree and an MBA in finance from Texas Christian University (TCU) and has served as an adjunct finance professor at TCU’s M.J. Neeley School of Business.

“Everyone at Argent has spoken about the 'Argent family,' and they genuinely back that up,” Halbert remarked. “The leadership truly cares about its people and allocates resources to help employees thrive. My vision is to position Argent as the premier trust and wealth management firm in North Texas.”

Gideon, who has more than 17 years of experience in banking, trust, and investment management, offers a client-focused approach to estate planning and trust administration. Her previous roles include Senior Vice President and Trust Officer at First Financial Trust, and she holds an MBA from Texas Christian University, along with a BBA in accounting from Tarleton State University. As a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), her expertise includes managing ultra-high-net-worth estate plans and charitable trusts.

“I was drawn to Argent because of its professionalism and culture,” Gideon said. “I believe in establishing long-term client relationships through thoroughness and attention to detail.”

Ongoing Partnership

It's worth noting that Halbert and Gideon share a professional history spanning over 16 years, a factor that adds to their collaborative potential at Argent. Their appointments reflect not only an investment in personnel but also a forward-thinking philosophy aimed at bolstering the company's presence and impact in the North Texas market.
