Events Overview
On May 27th and 28th, 2025, Tokyo will host two prestigious sport shooting events at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium located in Shibuya.
7th All Japan Team Championship
The first event, the
7th All Japan Team Championship, will kick off on May 27th, featuring various competitions including team events across different distances (6m, 8m, 10m). Each team consists of
four members, and participants will compete within their gender-diverse teams. The matches will consist of six rounds of shooting using a standard shooting format.

Competition Format
- - Team Competition: Three distances available - 6m, 8m, and 10m. All team members must compete at the same distance. There are no restrictions on the gender composition of each team.
- - Doubles Competition: This will consist of pairs shooting at a distance of 8m. Again, gender composition is flexible.
An impressive
75 teams are expected, bringing together around
300 participants from various prefectures, including Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Osaka. Each participating team is given an opportunity to showcase their skills in a competitive and supportive environment.
Chairman's Cup 2025
Following the team championship, the
Chairman’s Cup 2025 will take place on May 28th. This competition brings together top-tier talent from across Japan, where participants will compete in individuals matches at a distance of
10 meters.

Competition Format
- - Individual Matches: Requires six preliminary rounds followed by two final rounds for the top eight competitors. Both men's and women's participants can compete, as there are no gender distinctions in scoring.
- - Competitor Breakdown: The competition will see 334 participants, comprised of the A Class (120 members, three to four dan ranks) and the S Class (214 members, five dan ranks and above).
This high-octane event promises to attract competitors from various prefectures, with expectations of talents from as far as Hokkaido and Kyushu participating.
