Expansion of Rental Services at Tokyu Resorts & Stay
Tokyu Resorts & Stay, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, is taking a significant step to enhance the experience of winter sports enthusiasts through its SMART CLUB program. Starting November 5, 2025, the company will introduce new services for ski and snowboard equipment rental as well as online school reservations, available across four ski facilities: Hunter Mountain Shiobara in Tochigi, Tambara Ski Park in Gunma, Tangram Ski Circus in Nagano, and Ski Jam Katsuyama in Fukui.
Historically, the SMART CLUB allowed members to purchase lift tickets online, benefiting from early discounts and ensuring ticket availability during peak times. However, the process for reserving rentals and school lessons required navigating separate websites, which led to unnecessary complexities for members. To simplify this, Tokyu Resorts & Stay has developed a unified system that now enables users to manage their lift ticket purchases along with rental and school bookings using a single One ID.
This integration not only alleviates the hassle of managing multiple reservations but also aims to enhance the overall experience for visitors at the ski resorts, making it easier to enjoy their stay and recreational activities. As a result, members can delineate a smoother path through the winter season, ensuring hassle-free access to rental gear and lessons without added stress.
Earning Points through the SMART CLUB
In addition to the enhancements in the reservation process, members will now earn points on all purchases made through the SMART CLUB. Previously, only lift ticket purchases contributed to gathering points. Under the new scheme, renting equipment and booking school services will also be eligible for point accrual. Accumulated points can be redeemed with a value of 1 point equating to 1 yen, usable for future reservations at Tokyu's Snow Resort, all Tokyu Stay facilities, and Tokyu Golf Resorts' official websites.
As the winter season approaches, this updated service promises not only greater ease in booking but also an increased rate of point accumulation, encouraging members to engage more frequently with the facilities. The more often points are used, the greater the tier benefits, allowing users to enjoy a wide range of rewards year-round, from winter sports to off-peak relaxation.
Streamlined Ticket Usage Process
To clarify how to use the lift tickets effectively, members can follow these steps:
1. Once lift tickets are purchased, a QR code for ticket issuance will be sent to the registered email address.
2. After receiving the ticket from an automated machine, members may head directly to the lift line.
3. Enjoy skiing or snowboarding to the fullest!
Points Accumulation Details
Reservations made through official sites or apps for Tokyu's Snow Resort, Tokyu Stay, and Tokyu Golf Resort will accrue points based on the member’s status. Points will be credited shortly after the relevant dates: for lift tickets, three days after the transaction; for accommodations, three days after checkout; for golf, three days after the use of services.
