Starting from October 7, 2025, the Konica Minolta Planetarium in Tokyo will introduce a groundbreaking experience entitled "Sunset Chill Camp". This unique planetarium event merges the serene feeling of camping under a starlit sky with the immersive technology of a traditional planetarium, creating a one-of-a-kind relaxation atmosphere for visitors.

Guests will find themselves seated in comfortable camping chairs, enveloped by a ceiling of twinkling stars. It offers the perfect escape from busy city life, allowing participants to experience the tranquility of nature as if they were actually out camping beneath the open sky.

A Nature-Inspired Soundtrack

To enhance this relaxing experience, the background music consists of soothing natural sounds like crackling campfires, ocean waves, and the gentle chirping of crickets. Guests can also take their experience a step further by playing their favorite music from their smartphones or media players. This blend creates a personal and luxurious touch that distinguishes it from traditional planetarium shows.

It's essential, however, to note some guidelines for music playback: headphones or earbuds must be used to avoid disturbing others, and the venue does not provide any music playback devices or charging stations. Visitors are encouraged to download or create playlists beforehand, as Wi-Fi is not available within the dome, and streaming may incur additional data charges.

Seasonal Stargazing Experience

The "Sunset Chill Camp" will present seasonal constellations visible from October to November. The experience is enhanced by a stunning backdrop of sunset views over beachlines, allowing attendees to feel as though they are at an authentic campsite in the midst of an urban setting. Ticket Sales Information

• - Online Sales: For members of Starry Members, tickets will be available for purchase starting 7 days prior to the showtime at 12:00 PM, while general sales will begin 5 days before the scheduled performance. Tickets can be bought up to 15 minutes before the show.
• - On-Site Sales: On the day of the event, tickets will go on sale starting at 10:30 AM; however, if the online ticketing sells out, no tickets will be available on-site.

Food and drink will also be allowed in DOME1, making it possible for guests to enjoy tasty snacks and beverages purchased from Cafe Planetaria, located in the lobby before the show.
