About the Stehaji Project

The Stehaji Project, an initiative by OSG Corporation based in Kita-ku, Osaka, stands for "It's Shameful to Waste" and targets social issues arising from marine plastic pollution and single-use products. The goal is to encourage individuals, companies, local governments, and organizations to engage in practices that promote awareness and action towards sustainable changes. Since its inception in 2019, over 400 participants have joined this project, including individuals, companies, and community groups.

In preparation for the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, the project has laid out significant challenges such as a goal of reducing 5 billion plastic bottles and expanding water refill stations by 100,000 locations, emphasizing the importance of bringing personal reusable bottles.
