Contour Airlines Expands Services for Middle Georgia Travelers
Contour Airlines is excited to announce significant updates to its flight schedule, providing enhanced travel options for residents of Middle Georgia. Effective June 9, 2026, the airline will reinstate its nonstop service from Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MCN) to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). This return to Baltimore is eagerly anticipated by the local community, as it connects them to a major hub in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Previously, Contour Airlines operated this route, and due to high demand from the community, the airline is thrilled to bring it back.
Alongside the Baltimore route, Contour Airlines will also introduce nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida, also starting on June 9, 2026. This expansion comes as a direct response to increased requests from travelers seeking convenient access to the sunny beaches and cruise ports of Florida.

Macon's Mayor, Lester Miller, highlighted the benefits for both leisure and business travelers, adding, “Whether it’s a trip to visit the nation’s capital or to relax on the beaches of Florida, these flights will make it easier for our residents to explore.”
Flight Details
The flight schedule includes two daily flights to Baltimore, with an additional flight operated on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The following are the flight times:
- - Baltimore Morning Service (3x weekly)
- BWI to MCN: 9:45 AM – 11:45 AM
- - Baltimore Afternoon Service (Daily)
- BWI to MCN: 5:05 PM – 7:15 PM
Fort Lauderdale flights will operate four times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, providing flexibility for travelers. The schedule for these flights is as follows:
- - Fort Lauderdale Morning Service (4x weekly)
- FLL to MCN: 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM
Contour Airlines will utilize a 30-seat regional jet for these services, ensuring a comfortable travel experience. Each flight features leather seating with extra legroom, along with complimentary snacks and beverages for all passengers.
