CISCE 2025: A Platform for Global Supply Chain Collaboration Gathers Momentum

The Surge of American Exhibitors at CISCE 2025

From July 16 to 20, 2025, the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) took place in Beijing, providing a distinguished platform for global communication and collaboration within the supply chain sector. A significant point of interest was the 15% increase in the number of American exhibitors compared to the previous year, further solidifying the United States' position as the largest group of foreign participants at this pivotal event.

Michael Hart, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham), praised the CISCE for fostering cross-border cooperation and innovation. "The supply chain expo offered a fantastic platform for dialogue and collaboration," said Hart. "I am pleased to announce that this year, the number of exhibitors from the USA has risen significantly, with 60% of them being companies from the Fortune Global 500 list. We are also thrilled to welcome NVIDIA, a leading player in American technology, making its debut at CISCE."

Yü Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized the event's importance for enhancing bilateral economic relations. "The foundation of China-US relations lies in interpersonal ties," Yü noted. "At this critical forum, Chinese and American companies are taking concrete steps to strengthen supply chain collaboration, ensuring stable and uninterrupted global supply chains."

This year marked AmCham China's first participation in the CISCE with its own exhibition booth, where it showcased innovative solutions alongside its member companies to promote partnerships. Hart highlighted the AmCham China 2025 Navigator program that was launched during last year's expo, focusing on establishing leadership in the supply chain and collaboration with Chinese centers.

Shandong's Role in Supply Chain Resilience

Hart also pointed out the crucial role that Shandong province plays in global supply chain resilience. Since the first American investment in Shandong in 1986, nearly 1,000 American companies have invested in the province, making it a significant partner in bilateral trade. "Shandong is one of the most dynamic provinces in China, excelling in manufacturing, agriculture, port logistics, and new energy," Hart stated. Its robust industrial ecosystem, efficient infrastructure, and skilled workforce have attracted many AmCham China member companies, which have established manufacturing bases and regional centers in the area.

The CISCE continues to serve as an essential platform for global cooperation in the supply chain sector, offering businesses opportunities to explore new collaboration possibilities and support economic growth. The expo showcases groundbreaking innovations in the supply chain field and promotes stronger cross-border partnerships. For more highlights from this event, visit CISCE official site.
