These honorees have tirelessly worked to enhance quality, effective, equitable, and accessible cancer care worldwide, reflecting NCCN's mission to ensure that all individuals can lead healthier lives regardless of their circumstances.

Crystal S. Denlinger, MD, CEO of NCCN, expressed pride in acknowledging those who advocate for high-quality, patient-centered cancer care globally. The 2025 awardees exemplify excellence, innovation, and collaboration, making them exemplary figures in oncology. Excellence in Engagement Award Recipients



Among the distinguished awardees, two individuals received the Excellence in Engagement Award, which honors leaders within the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) Panels. These individuals have demonstrated remarkable dedication and collaboration in shaping critical cancer treatment recommendations.

Nadeem R. Abu-Rustum, MD from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was recognized for his extensive involvement with the NCCN Guidelines® Panel for Cervical/Uterine Cancers, where he has served since 2019. His efforts to adapt gynecologic guidelines globally have been instrumental, showcasing his unwavering commitment to patient safety and exemplary dedication to the mission set forth by NCCN.
