Jericho Project Rings Closing Bell at NYSE

These include case management, employment assistance, and health resources, both mental and physical.

During the ceremony, Lyon underscored Jericho's commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of over 3,000 New Yorkers each year, including 700 veterans. The organization's focus encompasses numerous vulnerable groups, including families, young adults, and seniors. To date, Jericho operates more than 625 housing units across New York City, significantly contributing to efforts to provide affordable and supportive housing.

In a five-year projection, Jericho aims to introduce or preserve over 2,600 units of affordable housing, integrating nearly 1,000 of these units as supportive housing—aligned with New York City's annual targets for such housing.

As a part of furthering their community engagement, Jericho Project is also gearing up for its annual gala, titled Celebrate! 2025 Building Foundations, Strengthening Families, set for May 5, 2025. This event is intended to raise funds and awareness for the significant work they do in combating homelessness and supporting families in need.

With a storied history of 42 years, Jericho Project focuses on empowering individuals and families grappling with homelessness and housing instability by offering tailored support and crucial services aimed at closing social inequities. Their services, operating at $18,000 per person annually, stand in stark contrast to the much higher costs associated with homelessness remedies, making a compelling case for their continued and expanded support.
