UPWARD Expands Operations in Southeast Asia with New Bangkok Hub

UPWARD Inc. (Headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, led by CEO Ryusuke Kaneki) has announced the establishment of a new hub in Bangkok, Thailand, aimed at strengthening its business expansion in Southeast Asia. To commemorate this significant milestone, a ceremony was held, inviting local customers, investors, and partner companies.

Since its entry into the Southeast Asian market in 2023, UPWARD has been committed to enhancing the operational efficiency of field workers and their management teams, particularly in response to the growing demand observed in Thailand. The decision to establish a new location in Bangkok is a strategic move to serve as a central hub for further market exploration in the region.

Location and Purpose of the New Bangkok Hub

The newly opened Bangkok office is located at 952 Ramaland Building, Room No. 22, 13th Floor, Rama 4 Road, Suriyawong, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500.

The rapid proliferation of mobile devices across Southeast Asia has led to increased interest in optimizing and visualizing sales activities through mobile means. Currently, many field workers are not fully digitizing customer information management and reporting of visit activities. Management teams overseeing numerous field workers often express concerns about not being able to monitor how staff conducts their visits.

Moreover, traffic congestion in the Bangkok metropolitan area heightens the need for efficiently planned visit routes, alongside the desire for direct reporting and information sharing from the field. These factors indicate a robust potential for real-time visualization of sales activities and efficiency improvements using mobile-based solutions, which are predicted to experience significant growth in the Thai market.

Going forward, UPWARD aims to establish a solid framework to support introduction and assistance to customers throughout Southeast Asia, further accelerating its global expansion.

Commemorative Ceremony in Bangkok

On August 29, 2025, UPWARD celebrated the opening of its Bangkok office with a commemorative ceremony held locally. Key participants included Yoshikazu Kojima, Operation Director of PT. Secom Indonesia (located in Jakarta, Indonesia), alongside other users of UPWARD products and investors. The event featured a presentation on the company’s global strategy and showcased its mobile-based activity management service, “UPWARD Meets,” developed specifically for the Asian market.
