Innovative Healthcare Products Unveiled at Kansai Kids Equipment Expo 2025

On November 29 and 30, 2025, Japan Yamamura Glass Co., Ltd., based in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, will co-exhibit alongside NEWSTA Inc., which operates Famicare, at the 6th Kansai Kids Equipment Expo. This significant event showcased an array of healthcare and caregiving products tailored for children with medical care needs, along with conducting a visitor survey for insights into the needs of these families.

Showcasing New Products

During the event, one of the highlights was the reservation sales of a newly developed product, the "Pouch-Specific Connector," a result of a co-creation project between Yamamura and Famicare. The product was met with overwhelming demand, leading to the sell-out of planned quantities. Additionally, visitors could explore and purchase other items such as the "Perfectly Thickening Cup" and "Syrup Perfectly Shiroppy."

Note: The Pouch-Specific Connector is currently unavailable for new orders, as all anticipated orders have been filled. Production is ongoing for reserved items, with delivery expected to begin in January 2026.

Survey Results: Identifying Caregiver Challenges

In conjunction with product showcases, the expo featured a face-to-face survey aimed at understanding common challenges faced by caregivers. The survey received 66 valid responses, highlighting key concerns in the areas of "going out and moving around," "meals," and "bathing and hygiene." The feedback underscored a strong demand for solutions addressing meal-related needs in product development ideas.

Going forward, Yamamura and Famicare intend to expand their co-creation project titled "#ThisIsWhatHelps! Let’s Create Together Project," using the survey insights as a foundation for future initiatives.
