Nano-Yield Triumphs Against Adversity in Agriculture
2024 has proven to be a challenging year for the agriculture industry. Many companies were compelled to tighten their budgets, scale back operations, and reevaluate their strategies amid fluctuating market conditions and economic pressures. However, one company that stood out is Nano-Yield™, which managed to not only navigate these turbulent waters but emerged with significant growth. The central driver of this success was the launch of their groundbreaking product, NanoCote™.
According to Clark T. Bell, the Founder and CEO of Nano-Yield, the company experienced an astounding 25% increase in sales compared to fiscal year 2023. He attributes this growth to the timely introduction of NanoCote, their first nano-based granular fertilizer coating. This innovative product not only surpassed sales expectations but also demonstrated an ability to enhance the performance of granular fertilizers, earning it the favor of farmers across the board. Bell noted, "Even amid numerous industry setbacks, Nano-Yield was able to grow as a whole, indicating that there remains a strong demand for our products. The agricultural market is bright when you use Nano-Yield products."
The excitement didn’t stop there. Nano-Yield recently celebrated its 5th annual NanoCon at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas, where over 100 customers and distributors gathered for an enlightening three-day event. Mark Slavens, the President and COO, expressed enthusiasm for what lies ahead. He remarked, "This conference acknowledges our past successes while looking forward with a mission-driven, customer-focused approach to future innovations. We are eager for what 2025 has in store for us, especially since our technologies have now made their mark on over 5 million acres globally. The synergy between nanoliquid technologies and agricultural production is incredibly promising."
The event served not only as a platform for networking but also as a celebration of the year’s achievements. For the second consecutive year, Nano-Yield awarded its esteemed 'Rookie of the Year' title. Joel Mahin, the Regional Sales Manager recognized for the award, expressed his gratitude, stating, "I’m thrilled to be part of the Nano-Yield family, where customer satisfaction is our top priority. This technology works wonders; once the clients try our products, they witness the difference firsthand."
Nano-Yield took this opportunity during the NanoCon to acknowledge several of its customers and employees for exceptional performances throughout 2024. This year’s awards such as the Cornerstone Awards and Innovator Awards highlighted key partnerships and innovations contributing to agricultural progress and sustainability. Recipients included Tri-Yield from Southeastern Florida and Skagit Farmers Supply from Washington State, illustrating the company's commitment to fostering collaborative growth.
Beyond customer accolades, Nano-Yield also honored its employees with awards recognizing their hard work and dedication. Marco Guirado was named Regional Sales Manager of the Year, while Joel Mahin was celebrated as Rookie of the Year. Jenny Phillips, the Director of Marketing, received the Keystone Award, showcasing the strong team spirit that drives the company forward.
"Our aim has always been to redefine norms within the agricultural sector through pioneering nanotechnology solutions, and 2024 was a significant step in that direction," concluded Bell.
