In an exciting twist for young gamers, REDEE Corporation is thrilled to announce a game creation workshop that will take place on July 25, 2026, at the eSports Studio AKIBA in Akihabara, Tokyo. This event, originally scheduled for June 25, had to be postponed due to an approaching typhoon. However, we are now ready to welcome kids for an unforgettable day of creativity and learning!

Event Highlights

This special workshop is tailored primarily for elementary school children, aimed at inspiring them to shift from being consumers of games to becoming creators themselves. The event is completely free and requires advance registration, although there may be opportunities for walk-in participants on the day if spaces are available.

What to Expect:

Participants can choose to engage in either or both of the courses:
1. Minecraft Programming Workshop: Utilizing the educational version of Minecraft, children will have the chance to learn programming through engaging activities. This hands-on experience will teach them the basics of coding in a fun and interactive environment.

2. ROBLOX Game Creative Experience: In this course, kids will challenge themselves to create original games on the ROBLOX platform. Supported by knowledgeable instructors, even those new to programming can confidently join in.

Learning and Creativity

Both workshops are guided by experienced teachers who will assist participants at every step. The difficulty levels can be adjusted to cater to various ages, ensuring that both primary and middle school students can enjoy the experience. By using cutting-edge gaming laptops powered by the latest CPUs, children will grasp the mechanics and principles behind game development.

This event not only promotes coding skills but also fosters logical thinking and creativity through the art of game creation. Children will have the freedom to explore their imaginations while acquiring essential technical skills.

The event will be held at eSports Studio AKIBA, a dedicated facility located on the 8th floor of Sofmap AKIBA's Computer and Digital Building. This space is specifically designed for e-sports and gaming events, providing an atmosphere that is both dynamic and conducive to learning.

Each session will last for 40 minutes, and the schedule is as follows:

- Session 1: 13:00 – 13:40
- Session 2: 15:00 – 15:40

• - ROBLOX Game Creative Experience:

- Session 2: 16:00 – 16:40
