Vantage Foundation's Partnership with SOS Children's Villages Philippines

On January 31, 2025, Vantage Foundation proudly announced its collaboration with SOS Children's Villages Philippines, a renowned NGO dedicated to providing comprehensive family care for children who have lost parental support or are at risk of family separation. Founded in 1967, this organization has established various programs aimed at enhancing the welfare of children and fortifying families in distress.

The core of SOS’s mission is centered on a family-based care model where orphaned children or those unable to receive safe home environments can find shelter in SOS Villages. These villages consist of small family homes managed by SOS mothers, where children receive the love and attention they need, akin to that of a real family. Within these homes, children grow up alongside biological siblings and other peers, benefitting from continuous emotional, educational, and psychological support from their caretakers, who serve as role models.

SOS Children’s Villages provide holistic and uninterrupted care for children from their early years until they graduate and transition into adulthood. Through educational support programs, vocational training, scholarships, and career counseling, they empower youth with tools necessary to break the cycle of poverty, achieve their dreams, and contribute to society as future leaders.

In January, representatives from Vantage Foundation visited the SOS Children's Village in Manila to witness firsthand the critical work being done to support children and youth facing challenging circumstances. Commenting on his impressions, Steven Xie, the Executive Director of Vantage Foundation stated, “The incredible work being done at SOS Villages reinforced our commitment to support initiatives that provide not only care but also opportunities for young people in building a better future.”
