Pretty Tasty Achieves Major Retail Expansion at Target Stores Nationwide

Pretty Tasty, a brand that has transformed the beverage landscape with its collagen-infused iced tea, is marking a remarkable milestone in its retail expansion. The company has successfully made its products available in every Target store across the United States. This achievement follows a strong launch at Sprouts Farmers Market and a newly forged partnership with LifeTime Fitness, demonstrating an impressive growth trajectory in the company's history.

Pretty Tasty focuses on the mantra that wellness should not come at a taste compromise. As such, consumers can now conveniently find the full range of Pretty Tasty's offerings—including the award-winning Peach flavor—in the beverage aisle of Target. This accessibility builds upon the existing distribution channels through Sprouts Farmers Market and national distributors UNFI and KeHE.

Chris Taylor, co-founder and CEO of Pretty Tasty, expressed his excitement: "This is the moment we've been building toward since day one. Being in every Target means people don't have to go looking for us anymore. We're just there, on the shelf, wherever they already shop. That changes what's possible for us next."

This year has proven fruitful for Pretty Tasty. The young brand not only won BevNET's New Beverage Showdown but also celebrated its Peach flavor winning the 2024 Good Housekeeping Best Coffee & Tea Award. FoodNavigator-USA has recognized the company’s strategic approach to securing shelf space as crucial to its success.

In addition to retail growth, Pretty Tasty has actively engaged with customers to enhance brand visibility. The company has organized over 60 sampling events in New York City and the Hamptons, targeting parks, beaches, gyms, rooftops, and boutique fitness studios. This outreach effort has placed its products directly in the hands of thousands of consumers. Furthermore, a partnership with LifeTime Fitness, which began amid these sampling events, has broadened the brand's reach within the fitness community. The collaboration aims to promote wellness through upcoming activations at LifeTime clubs during the fall.

Scarlett Leung, another co-founder of Pretty Tasty, shared insights about the brand's mission: "We started Pretty Tasty because we were tired of choosing between something that tasted good and something that was actually good for you. The beauty and wellness industry has spent decades telling women that looking and feeling good means sacrifice bland shakes, chalky powders, one more chore on the list. We built something we actually look forward to. That's what 'Drink Your Skincare' means to us—beauty on our own terms."

Target has always felt like the ideal match for Pretty Tasty’s consumer base. The typical Target shopper embodies the intersection of beauty, wellness, and everyday living, aligning perfectly with the brand's vision. "Every award, every activation, every new door this year has been in service of that," Scarlett continued. "Seeing it land on Target shelves, in the hands of people who've never heard of us, is exactly what we set out to build."

Dan Goldstein, the Chief Marketing Officer, reiterated the brand's marketing strategy: "We didn't just want to be on the shelf. We wanted people to already know us by the time they got there. Between the award wins, the community we're building, the LifeTime Fitness partnership, and a summer of sampling on the ground, we built real demand ahead of this launch. Target is the next chapter, not the end of the story. We're excited about what's coming."

As it stands, Pretty Tasty's collagen-infused iced tea is now available at every Target store nationwide, in addition to Sprouts Farmers Market and select retailers through UNFI and KeHE, with more partnerships on the horizon for the coming year. With its innovative approach to functional beverages, Pretty Tasty continues to establish itself as a leader in combining wellness and flavor—making healthy living not just beneficial, but enjoyable.
