VIVIFY Technology Partners with ELISIUM for Hydrogen Energy Development
In an exciting move towards sustainable urban development, VIVIFY Technology, based in Florida, has announced a significant partnership with ELISIUM, LLC, which is masterminding a cognitive city in Hendry County, Florida. This partnership is formalized through a letter of intent that designates VIVIFY as the primary provider of hydrogen energy infrastructure for this innovative development.
A New Approach to Urban Power Planning
Typically, large developments prioritize the construction of buildings before considering power sources. However, ELISIUM plans to disrupt this conventional approach. By involving VIVIFY from the outset in the master planning phase, the development aims to integrate hydrogen power into its core infrastructure right from the start. This means identifying essential elements such as generation sites, distribution corridors, and water supply requirements well before actual construction begins.
Subject to various permitting and regulatory processes, the collaboration envisions rolling out hydrogen energy infrastructure as the development progresses. The initial phases are expected to deliver construction power and support civic and commercial facilities, with capacity scaling as ELISIUM expands. Deployments will be tailored to fit the specific site conditions and local laws, offering flexibility in how the hydrogen infrastructure is integrated into the energy landscape.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Central to VIVIFY's offerings is the Hydrogen Oxygen Generator™ (HOG™), which serves as the flagship of their hydrogen energy solutions. For modular deployment, the company will utilize the Flying Pig™ containerized system, designed to allow for stepwise scaling of infrastructure. Furthermore, both companies will explore the application of VIVIFY's Clean Air Technology™ emissions control system for any waste-to-energy facilities within the new city.
According to Jason Herring, the Founder and CEO of VIVIFY Technology, "A city designed to think cannot rely on power systems conceived in the past. ELISIUM has the unique opportunity to embed hydrogen into its planning before ground is even broken, marking a true shift in urban infrastructure design." He also noted that the scaling capabilities of their technology are specifically engineered to meet the evolving demands of the city.
Vision for the Future
Set to break ground within the next 18 to 24 months, the ELISIUM development plans to have its energy infrastructure needs addressed roughly six months after construction begins. The project, however, must still navigate zoning and entitlement approvals, alongside securing financing.
The non-binding letter of intent signifies potential collaboration but does not mandate pricing, capacities, or exclusivity. VIVIFY and ELISIUM intend to negotiate definitive agreements that will outline the terms of their partnership in accordance with Florida law, including oversight from the Florida Public Service Commission.
