30th Fair Play Menarini International Award Kicks Off
Florence, Italy, welcomes the landmark 30th edition of the Fair Play Menarini International Award, marking a milestone in celebrating not just athletic achievement but also the core values of sportsmanship. The awards will culminate tomorrow at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, where a lineup of exceptional athletes will be recognized for their contributions to their respective sports, embodying the spirit of fair play. Among the honorees this year are Achille Polonara, a symbol of strength and perseverance in Italian basketball; Antonella Palmisano, an outstanding star in race walking; and Armand Duplantis, known for pushing the boundaries of pole vaulting.
