The 2025 G-EIGHT Game Show: A Gateway for Indie Games

Scheduled for December 12-14, 2025, the G-EIGHT Game Show in Taipei promises to be a landmark event in the indie gaming calendar. For the first time, this prestigious event will feature an unprecedented participation of 11 developers from Japan, showcasing over 250 games, solidifying the connection between Japan and Taiwan’s indie gaming scenes.

Among the participants, well-known Japanese labels such as SHOCHIKU GAMES, SHUEISHA GAMES, and Phoenixx will be showcasing their latest indie projects. Additionally, individual indie developers are set to highlight innovative and unique games, making this year’s event the largest in G-EIGHT's history. The gathering will feature both established companies and up-and-coming creators, creating a vibrant atmosphere for discovery and creativity.

Fangamer's First Appearance in Taiwan

Adding to the excitement, Fangamer, known for its high-quality merchandise from widely acclaimed indie games such as Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley, UNDERTALE, Hades, and Ib, will make its debut at the G-EIGHT Game Show. Attendees will have the chance to purchase official merchandise and enjoy exclusive collaborations between indie games and fan culture.
