Hisense Unveils Boundless Vision at the 2025 Laser Display Conference
Hisense Presents Its Vision of Boundlessness at the 2025 Laser Display Conference
On September 21, 2025, Hisense, a premier international brand in consumer electronics and home appliances, held the 2025 Laser Display Technology and Industry Development Conference under the theme of “Boundless.” The event marked a significant milestone, celebrating a decade of innovation in laser display technology and confirming the commitment to overcoming existing limitations in image display technology.
The term “Boundless” perfectly encapsulates the spirit of laser displays, which are now available in sizes ranging from 65 to 300 inches and are utilized in homes, vehicles, cinemas, and industrial settings. It also reflects the evolution of laser technology over the past decade — from a nascent concept to a cornerstone of the global television industry, moving from niche research projects to a thriving interconnected global ecosystem.
According to a Technavio report from 2025, the global projector market is witnessing uninterrupted growth, having expanded over three consecutive years from 2020 to 2023. This remarkable market performance reiterates Hisense's leading position; a recent report by Omdia indicated that Hisense has maintained the top spot globally in laser TV shipments without interruption since 2019, achieving a market share of 70% in the first half of 2025. Furthermore, between January and August 2025, Hisense experienced an 85% increase in sales and a 64% rise in revenue for its laser products in international markets—excluding China and Japan—highlighting the brand's strong global standing.
During the conference, Hisense showcased a range of products that embody the concept of “Boundlessness.” The L9Q TriChroma Laser TV and the C2 Ultra Triple Color Laser Mini Projector, both already available in international markets, promise immersive cinema-quality experiences right at home, providing large-scale entertainment. The L9Q Laser TV, developed in collaboration with the Opéra de Paris and Devialet, delivers stunning visuals ranging from 80 to 200 inches, with an ANSI-standard brightness of 5000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 50001, as well as certifications for IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision, raising the bar for home cinema technology.
Meanwhile, the C2 Ultra projector, designed for use with Xbox, projects images up to 300 inches, boasting ultra-low latency and vibrant colors that video game and film enthusiasts will appreciate. Additionally, Hisense introduced the world’s first integrated rollable laser TV, a compact innovation that eliminates the need for a dedicated cabinet and pre-installation measurements, seamlessly fitting into any interior while enhancing the aesthetic of the surrounding environment.
By pushing the boundaries of size, color, form, and viewing experiences, Hisense is solidifying its position as a global technology leader and lifestyle creator, driving industry growth and ushering in a new “Boundless” era of display technology. Founded in 1969, Hisense is a leader in the global RTV and consumer electronics market, with a presence in over 160 countries. The company specializes in high-end multimedia, home appliances, and intelligent IT solutions. According to Omdia, Hisense is a leader in the 100-inch and larger television segment from 2023 to the first half of 2025.
