In 2024, the event celebrated its 100th anniversary, drawing over 215,000 visitors from 138 countries, including approximately 133,000 trade visitors. This remarkable gathering of established brands and groundbreaking startups offered a sneak peek into the next generation of technology, spanning smart homes, AI, and sustainable solutions that are transforming our lives and interactions.

At this inaugural gathering, attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from IFA CEO, Life Lintner, who will be speaking in Japan for the first time. He will cover essential trends from this year’s exhibitors and provide an overview of global developments, as well as strategies for the upcoming IFA 2025. Notably, the event will introduce the “IFA Certified Smart Home Visit Support Service,” aimed at facilitating insights into smart home innovations.

The agenda will feature a special session on smart homes led by Shinkai Fumimasa, CEO of X-HEMISTRY, who has extensive knowledge from a decade of attending IFA.
