On December 17, 2025, the Nikkei Muse Salon will host its 565th concert titled "World Christmas Carols" featuring esteemed performers Erika Colon and Vesselin Stoykov. This event will take place at the Nikkei Hall, located in the Chiyoda district of Tokyo, Japan. The doors will open at 18:00, and the performance will commence at 18:30, covering an approximate duration of two hours.

Event Highlights


This enchanting evening promises to be a celebration of global Christmas music, with a repertoire that includes traditional carols from Venezuela and Germany, as well as beloved opera pieces by classical composers like Handel and Mozart. The concert's distinct harmony will be led by the remarkable baritone Vesselin Stoykov and the celebrated soprano Erika Colon, showcasing their incredible vocal talents alongside the splendid organ arrangements by Ryoki Yamaguchi.

  • - Vesselin Stoykov (Bass-Baritone):
A notable figure hailing from Bulgaria, Stoykov first trained at the National Music Academy and the New Bulgarian University before earning a doctorate in music performance from the Detmold University of Music. Since debuting at the Stara Zagora National Opera House in 1995, he has captivated audiences across prestigious opera houses in Germany and Austria, earning accolades in various international competitions. His role as the artistic director of the Stara Zagora National Opera House further highlights his dedication to the arts.

  • - Erika Colon (Soprano):
Born in Venezuela, Colon has completed her master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music in the UK, winning the Grand Prize at the Tokyo International Vocal Competition. A dynamic performer, she actively engages in concerts and lectures worldwide and serves as the artistic director for the White Hand Chorus NIPPON.

  • - Ryoki Yamaguchi (Classical Organist):
Graduated from Waseda University’s Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Yamaguchi later pursued further studies at Tokyo University of the Arts, focusing on organ performance. His diverse repertoire spans classical, jazz, and popular genres, crafting concerts that have successfully attracted new enthusiasts to the world of organ music.
