The Waterras Bon Odori - BOOGIE BON BEAT Festival
The Waterras Bon Odori festival is set to make a vibrant debut on September 19th and 20th, 2025, at the multi-purpose complex, Waterras, located in Kanda Awaji-cho, Tokyo. This event promises an exhilarating mix of traditional dancing, J-Pop, and anime songs, alongside thrilling stage performances. The event is organized by the Waterras Vendors Association and supported by Yasuda Real Estate Co., Ltd. and the Awaji Area Management Association.
Event Highlights
The festival will showcase a rich array of performances, including traditional Bon Odori dances accompanied by Minyo folk songs, as well as modern interpretations featuring J-Pop and anime theme songs. The lively atmosphere will be enriched by performances from local Taiko drummers, the Ryukyu Dance Group, and many more, ensuring a feast for the senses.

The stage will come alive with diverse content, embodying the spirit of enjoyment. One of the highlights includes the professional Taiko group “Wadaiko Group Sai”, known for their electrifying performances. The festival will also feature live DJ mixes by DJ DANDY, who will be spinning unique beats to complement the lively dance atmosphere.
Gourmet Food and Vendors
Foodies will delight in the mouth-watering offerings at the Waterras Mall, where an array of food stalls and food trucks will serve up dishes from various cuisines, including Japanese, Chinese, and Italian. Expect to find delectable SAGA beef steaks that are famous worldwide, homemade lemonade and ice cream from ORGAR’S, and craft beer from TDM 1874 Brewery.
