In a significant step towards enhancing its presence in the European automotive market, Hyundai Mobis has officially commenced the mass production of Power Electric (PE) systems in Nováky, Slovakia. This new facility marks Hyundai Mobis' first PE production site in Europe, joining the ranks of its battery system assembly (BSA) plants located in the Czech Republic and Spain.
The Grand Opening ceremony held on September 2, 2026, was attended by notable figures, including Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and several high-ranking government officials, all of whom underscored the importance of this new venture in fostering strong economic ties.
