The KidsClie learning program, operated by VisionGate Co., Ltd., is thrilled to announce its inaugural Winter STEAM Festival 2026 scheduled for January 6, 2026, in Minato, Tokyo. This unique event aims to engage elementary school students with an enriching, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) experience, offering workshops, competitions, and a gourmet lunch.

A Special Day for Young Learners

As many parents return to work on this date, KidsClie provides a perfect solution by offering a full day of fun and learning for their children. This special program invites not only currently enrolled students but also children from the general public to join. Children can enjoy an entire day dedicated to various STEAM activities, making their New Year's educational experience both enjoyable and memorable.

Workshops Available

The festival features six distinct STEAM workshops, each designed to excite and inspire young minds. Here are the activities they can look forward to:

- Science Experiments 🔬:

Children will have the opportunity to engage in up to three different science experiments, including:
- Creating the world's most gliding paper airplane.
- Edible Science where they will learn about chemistry through cooking.
- Enjoying some winter-themed experiments with special souvenirs included.

- Robotics 🤖:

Participants can delve into the world of technology by building their own robots using motors and gears. With three levels of difficulty, even beginners can participate, and there will be hands-on support from dedicated instructors. After crafting their creations, kids will race their robots in thrilling competitions!

- Arts and Crafts 🎨:

In celebration of the New Year, children will partake in festive craft workshops where they can make souvenirs to take home.

- English Language Workshop 🌍:

Experience a special English program led by native speakers that encourages kids to engage with the language in a fun and relaxed setting.

A Gourmet Lunchtime Experience

The day will also feature a popular cafeteria-style lunch, designed to appeal to the children's tastes. Energized by a delicious meal, they will be ready for the exciting afternoon activities!

Finale: Competitions Await! 🏆🤖✈️

The grand finale includes the Robot Race and the World's Best Gliding Paper Airplane Competition. Children will apply what they’ve learned throughout the day in friendly contests with prizes for winners based on categories like distance, flight time, design, and robot speed.

In true KidsClie fashion, participants get to dictate their day's agenda. They can focus intensely on their favorite workshops, explore a variety of activities with friends, or dive into STEAM learning throughout the day, making it a unique event molded by their interests.

- Pickup and Transportation: Students will gather at their respective KidsClie locations in Tokyo, where staff will supervise safe transport to the event location. Upon conclusion, they will return to their centers until normal aftercare concludes at 7:30 PM.

Participation Fee

The cost for this special event is set at 2,000 yen, which includes a full day of activities, transportation, materials, and the gourmet lunch. Parents can drop off their children between 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM, including snack options.
