Join the Kyuukamura Photo Contest 2025!

The Kyuukamura Association, which operates 35 resort hotels across Japan’s national and quasi-national parks, is excited to announce its Kyuukamura Photo Contest 2025! Starting from July 19, 2025, the contest invites everyone to submit their favorite travel photos, capturing unforgettable moments, scenic views, unique cultural experiences, and cherished times with family or friends.

Contest Overview

The Kyuukamura Photo Contest features two categories:
1. Travel Photo Division
2. SNS Division

• - Travel Photo Division: Participants will submit their works online.
• - SNS Division: Participants can share their photos on Instagram by following the official Kyuukamura account and adding the hashtag #KyuukamuraPhotoContest.

The contest welcomes photos taken with any camera, including smartphones, DSLRs, or mirrorless cameras. Participants can submit entries in both categories, but may not submit the same photo in both.

Important Submission Details

• - Theme: Your submission should focus on experiences and sights related to travel, such as stunning natural landscapes discovered on your journeys, cultural highlights of different regions, and memorable family moments.
• - Submission Period: July 19, 2025 - December 1, 2025

Prizes on Offer

Prizes vary by division, with some of the highlights being:

• - Travel Photo Division:

- Special Prize: Four winners will receive a certificate, a pair accommodation voucher (one night, two meals), and delicious Omi Beef.
- Other awards include certificates and paired accommodation vouchers from various sponsors like the Japan Travel Photographers Association and CAPA.

• - SNS Division:

- Special Prize: Eight winners will receive a certificate, accommodation vouchers, and various gifts from sponsors like Asahi Beer, Kirin, Key Coffee, Coca-Cola, and others.

To enter the Travel Photo Division, visit the official Kyuukamura website and complete the online entry form by uploading your images:

For the SNS Division, follow the official Instagram account @kyukamurahotels and post your captured images with the hashtag #KyuukamuraPhotoContest. Participants are limited to one account submission.

Eligibility

• - General: Anyone residing in Japan can participate, and there is no limit on the number of submissions.
• - Under 18: Parental consent is required.
• - SNS Division: Participants must have an Instagram account and must follow the Kyuukamura official account until the award is sent.
