XCMG Unveils Smart and Sustainable Solutions at 8th International Customer Festival
XCMG Showcases Smart and Sustainable Solutions at the 8th International Customer Festival
XUZHOU, China – XCMG officially kicked off its 8th International Customer Festival from May 19 to May 22, 2026, under the theme "Green Intelligence for a Better World." This year's festival brought together over 2,500 clients from more than 100 countries, providing a global platform for XCMG to advance dialogue on the complete value chain ecosystem with global partners while showcasing China's manufacturing strengths on the international stage.
During this festival, XCMG launched its first dedicated forum on engineering and mining titled "XCMG Intelligence: New Tech, New Energy, New Future." This initiative aligns with globalization and intelligent development and aims to create an influential platform for dialogue within the industry, highlighting XCMG's solutions which contribute to the high-quality development of the engineering and mining machinery sectors.
Yang Dongsheng, President of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, stated, "We want to let our international partners know that we are open, innovative, inclusive, responsible, trustworthy, and reliable. Our confidence in global development and our commitment to it will never waver."
The opening ceremony, held on May 20, featured live demonstrations of equipment, large-screen presentations, and holographic displays that illustrated eight application scenarios. A dynamic fleet of 70 machines highlighted areas such as smart earthmoving, green energy, intelligent mining, and emergency rescue. Six G2 generation cranes hoisted a 20-ton screen to a height of 40 meters, showcasing the "first crane in the world" alongside a 1,100-ton crawler crane. Furthermore, 39 aerial lifts, eight port forklifts, and numerous Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) collaborated to create an unforgettable experience for attendees from both China and across the globe.
During the opening ceremony, XCMG also unveiled "XCMG CONNECT," an application designed to manage all equipment. This AI-driven assistant enables comprehensive support and integrates a digital ecosystem for global operations. The platform brings together equipment, services, spare parts, and networks on a global scale, offering international customers an intelligent service system that covers every scenario, life cycle, and operational need.
In response to the growing trend of AI and automation, this year's festival highlighted areas dedicated to autonomous technologies and intelligent construction systems. Attendees witnessed a fleet of electric, eco-friendly, autonomous machinery engaged in excavation, transport, leveling, and compaction tasks. All machines supported remote control and Level 4 autonomous driving and were managed by XCMG's proprietary system that permits "one-click" command and dynamic coordination, leading to smart mining operations ranging from individual machine intelligence to group coordination.
XCMG deployed nearly 500 units for immersive green zone demonstrations and operated 10 parallel satellite sites, including specific areas for spare parts markets. The company showcased tailored solutions for mining, earthmoving, road construction, lifting, and emergency rescue while offering comprehensive life cycle support for equipment—covering maintenance, spare parts, used equipment, rental operation, and financing options.
Through scenario-based demonstrations, XCMG presented a range of environmentally friendly construction solutions powered by new energy sources. These included hybrid lifting equipment, a complete lineup of new energy mining machines, and solutions for hydraulic excavators, loaders, road construction equipment, and concrete machinery. The technologies highlighted a 100% electric propulsion model, grid-powered electric options, and hybrid solutions.
All autonomous construction units are powered by new energy, complemented by integrated "source-network-charge-storage" solutions and key components sourced from renewable energy sectors. The entire industrial chain of "production-storage-recharge-usage" was fully represented, encompassing everything from production to storage, charging, and battery systems.
As an increasingly influential international exchange platform in the global construction machinery industry, the festival not only presented eco-friendly and intelligent solutions from XCMG but also demonstrated the significant role the Chinese manufacturing industry plays in global industrial transformation.
"XCMG has always maintained a long-term vision, striving to become a reliable long-term partner and to build a mutually beneficial industrial ecosystem with clients worldwide," Yang concluded.
