Find Selected as a Finalist in Startup World Cup 2026 Kyushu Qualifiers

Find, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has made headlines by being selected as one of the top 10 finalists in the Kyushu qualifiers for the
Startup World Cup 2026. Co-hosted by
Pegasus Tech Ventures, based in San Jose, California, this contest is recognized as one of the largest business pitch competitions worldwide. Out of approximately 250 entries, Find's unique service, which aims to ensure that lost items are always found, stood out during the rigorous selection process.
Scheduled for
October 6, 2026, the Kyushu qualifiers will take place at the Kumamoto Castle Hall in Kumamoto City. Among the finalists, one company will earn the opportunity to compete on the global stage in November 2026 at the World Finals in San Francisco, USA, for a remarkable prize of
$1 million (approximately 150 million yen).
What is the Startup World Cup?
The
Startup World Cup is a prestigious event that takes place across
more than 130 countries and regions, highlighting a competitive pitch contest. Every year, over
30,000 startups participate, and the winners from regional qualifiers get to present their ideas at the grand finale in San Francisco. The 2025 Japanese qualifiers will occur in Tokyo, Kyushu, and Tohoku, with Mayor companies, investors, and media representatives gathering over
8,000 participants.
Hosted by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a global venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, the organization has invested in
more than 300 startups, managing total assets of around
300 billion yen.
