Experience the Exciting World of Logistics and IT This July with Family in Inagi City

Dive into the Logistics and IT Experience in Inagi City

This July, from the 4th to the 30th, Inagi City will host an exciting opportunity for families to explore the world of logistics and IT. Organized by the Pal System Cooperative, this free program aims to educate elementary school students and their parents about the delivery system through hands-on experiences at their logistics and IT facility.

A Day Filled with Activities

Participants can expect a fun-packed one-hour session, where they will engage in various activities, including quizzes and a product packing experience. The facility is equipped with sorting machines used in the Pal System logistics center, and includes original videos, panels, and tablets for a comprehensive learning experience. After the program, families can capture memorable moments with a life-size Pal System delivery truck backdrop, and students will also receive special gifts.

Understanding Modern Delivery Systems

Pal System is known for delivering over 10 million items each week to 800,000 households. This program not only introduces participants to the logistics sorting systems and information technology that ensure efficient delivery but also sheds light on how digital advancements are shaping modern society. It also emphasizes the sustainable practices of the cooperative, such as pre-ordering and recycling during delivery, which contribute to reducing food waste and promoting resource circulation.

Engaging Community Involvement

Since initiating the work experience program in 2023, Pal System has welcomed over 1,900 participants, including students from local primary and junior high schools. Feedback from children reflecting their enjoyment is abundant, with comments like, "Shopping with the tablet was fun!" and "I want to experience more!" Parents have also expressed their satisfaction, noting that the program has been beneficial for them and has sparked their children’s interest in food.
