Upcoming Seminar on NV Analysis and Practical Application Scheduled for June 5 in Nagoya

Upcoming Seminar on NV Analysis

On June 5, 2026, Newton Works Inc., an independent engineering solutions provider headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, will hold a seminar on sound and vibration (NV) analysis in Nagoya. This event aims to address the pressing challenge of reducing development time in modern engineering practices by providing insights into practical applications of NV analysis.

In today's competitive landscape, relying on traditional methods of "build and test" can lead to significant disadvantages. This seminar will delve into the essential points necessary for integrating acoustic analysis into real-world applications, ensuring that it does not become a mere academic exercise.

Expert Speaker and Key Topics

The seminar features Hikoto Ido, a researcher from Chuo University with extensive experience in solving various noise issues. He will discuss how to interpret critical indicators such as acoustic power and radiation efficiency through real-world examples. Attendees can look forward to practical insights relevant to their engineering challenges.

Additionally, the seminar will present modern methods for shape optimization and systematic approaches to problem-solving pioneered by Newton Works. Whether you're an engineer looking to improve NV performance and design efficiency, this seminar promises valuable information tailored to meet your needs.

Major Topics Covered

1. Understanding the Essence of Evaluation Indicators: Hikoto Ido will share how to effectively interpret crucial acoustic metrics, vital for successful NV analysis.
2. Fusion of Analysis and Practical Testing: Results from practical tests using metal 3D printed samples will be shared, revealing insights into the discrepancies that engineers often encounter.
3. Optimized Design Through Systematic Overview: A holistic analysis model that captures the entire rotating machinery system will be proposed, offering a flow for enhancing NV performance beyond individual components.
