A New Era of Baseball Enjoyment: Welcome to BASEBALL FUN・FAN PARK

In an exciting development for baseball enthusiasts, MPandC, a sports business management company under Sega Sammy Group, has partnered with QUON to launch the new online community, BASEBALL FUN・FAN PARK. This innovative platform aims to redefine how fans engage with the sport. Scheduled to open on January 28, 2026, it promises a space where fans can freely share their enjoyment and experiences related to baseball.

BASEBALL FUN・FAN PARK is envisioned as an inclusive, free-to-use online community where participants can easily exchange their thoughts, ideas, and unique ways to enjoy baseball. Unlike traditional stadiums where matches are observed, this community will serve as a “baseball park” — a casual and accessible “park-like” environment where fans can connect and interact, reflecting on the joy of the game and their personal memories associated with baseball.

This initiative comes at a time when global interest in baseball has reached new heights, particularly following international tournaments such as the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and the WBSC Premier12. However, many children continue to face challenges when it comes to enjoying casual play, with fewer opportunities to engage in simple activities like catch in parks, impacted by lifestyle changes and a reduction in play spaces.

Recognizing these dynamics, MPandC believes it’s crucial to transform the growing passion for watching baseball into more active participation. By fostering experiences that bridge the gap between watching, playing, and discussing the sport, they hope to inject fresh energy into the baseball community. The goal is not to create a space limited to dedicated fans, but rather to open the door for everyone to explore and deepen their relationship with baseball in diverse ways.

The foundation for BASEBALL FUN・FAN PARK is set around building an engaging dialogue among members. By doing so, participants can rediscover the inherent joys of baseball and forge new connections with others who share their passion. This platform is inspired by QUON's Kizuna Community, an existing online fan engagement platform that has successfully brought together over 2 million users across 70 organizations, fostering connections based on shared experiences and value creation.

In a statement about this community launch, Masaki Morishita, President of MPandC, expressed a desire to realize “MY LIFE WITH SPORTS” through pleasure in sports. He emphasized the aim of not merely having stadiums as places to watch games but creating an inviting baseball park atmosphere where conversations flow naturally among visitors.

He explained, “Whether you’re a player, a fan, or someone who used to enjoy baseball, every interaction can spark new discussions that make the experience rewarding.” The intent is to cultivate an environment where voices like “Baseball is fun!” or “What if we tried this?” can thrive.
