Seminar 1: Exploring Financial Education in Schools

In light of the recent changes to the educational curriculum that increasingly emphasize financial literacy, J-FLEC is hosting a seminar designed specifically for educators at elementary, middle, and high school levels. The seminar will feature a special lecture by Mr. Manabu Tamura from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) titled "The Direction of Curriculum Revisions". Additionally, participants will benefit from:
- - An explanation of J-FLEC's standard teaching materials and lesson plans presented by Professors Chiho Oyabu (Gifu University) and Masao Higuchi (Tamagawa University).
- - A mock lesson conducted by Yuko Muramatsu, a J-FLEC-certified advisor, aimed at practical teaching strategies that can be applied in classrooms.
This seminar aims to equip educators with the latest knowledge and tools for financial education, ensuring that students are well-prepared for financial responsibilities in their future.
Seminar 2: Empowering Your Knowledge of Money for a Secure Second Life

For individuals approaching retirement or interested in understanding their financial landscape in the second half of life, this seminar provides essential insights into managing income, expenditure, and social security in retirement. Led by J-FLEC-certified advisor Keiko Ishihara, attendees can explore fundamental concepts regarding:

- - Extending the longevity of personal finances in one's second life
- - Addressing common concerns and uncertainties associated with post-retirement financial management
