Colombin Co., Ltd., based in Shibuya, Tokyo, is set to brighten your spring days with its extensive offering at the Colombin Harajuku Salon. Starting mid-March, the renowned salon will introduce the ‘Sakura Parfait’ and a special ‘Printemps Afternoon Tea Set,’ blending European and Japanese spring themes. Starting on March 19, two types of cherry blossom petit gateaux will also be available at all Colombin locations. With a variety of thoughtfully crafted sweets and dishes, it’s the perfect setting for a vibrant spring gathering.

Printemps Afternoon Tea Set

Enjoy a culinary celebration inspired by spring in Europe and Japan with the Printemps Afternoon Tea Set. The menu features a splendid mix of specialty desserts and savory delights featuring seasonal vegetables.

Upper Tier

  • - Poisson d’Avril (Strawberry Tart)
  • - Lily of the Valley Macaron (Pistachio Cream and Blueberry Macaron)
  • - Easter Cake (Carrot Cake)

The upper layer emphasizes a delightful narrative through its sweets, such as the Poisson d’Avril, a strawberry tart modeled after the traditional French prank of April Fish, and a carrot cake for Easter celebrations. The macarons are adorned with lily of the valley, referencing the French custom of gifting these flowers on May 1st.

Middle Tier

Spring is the prime time for honey, so enjoy the exquisite aroma and rich sweetness of the rare Harajuku honey sourced from their own beehives. During late April to early May, the first harvest of this honey will be specially featured in the offerings. With just one bee producing a mere teaspoon of honey in its lifetime, each serving is a precious testament to nature's generosity, complemented by a medley of fruits.

As you indulge, you’ll discover the delightful changes in flavors with matcha warabi mochi, cherry blossom ice cream, and lemon curd tucked inside. Finished with handmade cherry blossom meringue and a macaron filled with cherry bean paste, this parfait encapsulates multiple cherry blossom expressions on a single plate.

Sakura Cream Soda

The Sakura Mont Blanc, inspired by cherry blossom mochi, features a smooth fromage mousse concealing griotte cherry gelée, topped with a house-made cherry cream made from white bean, cream cheese, and custard. The sakura chiffon cake, featuring fluffy chiffon layers filled with sakura cream and smooth vanilla-bean-infused bavarian cream, displays blooming cherry blossoms throughout.
