Hollyland Unveils Innovative Wireless Intercom System
In a significant advancement for professional communication,
Hollyland has launched a state-of-the-art
wireless intercom system aimed at elevating the standards of broadcasting and event management. The new system, which consists of a series of products including the
Geo Central Station,
Solidcom ANT01,
Solidcom BPK01, and
Solidcom H1, promises unprecedented scale and versatility in communication for large venues.
One of the standout features of this new system is the
Geo Central Station. This central hub can accommodate up to
80 wireless belt packs without incurring additional licensing costs. Thanks to its advanced
cascading roaming technology, the system can cover an astounding area of over
4 million square meters, roughly equivalent to
560 football fields. Moreover, with its native
Dante technology integration and
4×4 network ports, the Geo Central Station simplifies installations by eliminating the need for additional audio interfaces while ensuring reliable and independent audio channels for each group.
The
Solidcom H1 unit offers flexible deployment options, functioning either as a standalone system or in conjunction with the Geo Central Station. In standalone mode, it supports up to
30 belt packs, and this number increases to
80 when it is connected to the Geo Central Station. This feature makes it ideal for production teams of varying sizes, providing seamless connectivity across diverse filming or operational environments.
According to Dave Liu, Hollyland's Director of R&D, the design of the system emphasizes scalability to meet the evolving needs of large, distributed production teams. He notes, "The modular topology ensures scalable usability based on project demands. The belt packs effortlessly transition between remote radio units and central stations, enabling independent deployment even in the most challenging environments. With built-in cloud calling capabilities, the system transcends physical locations, facilitating real-time communication over expansive networks."
When compared to traditional communication solutions, Hollyland's latest system boasts several key advantages. Its capacity to scale from
30 to 80 belt packs adequately addresses the needs of both small sets and large live productions on the robust
1.9 GHz frequency band. A single
Solidcom ANT01 unit can deliver a coverage radius of
500 meters in open fields, and when cascaded, the system effortlessly creates a seamless large-scale wireless network.
In order to coordinate across multiple teams, the system features intelligent group management, allowing operators to record, assign, and switch between up to
100 predefined communication groups—an ideal solution for collaborative efforts in ever-changing environments. Notably, even in smaller setups, the system supports the management of
up to 12 independent groups per cluster of ANT01 units.
The belt pack,
Solidcom BPK01, is designed with mobility in mind, weighing less than
305 grams (including the battery) and providing up to
15 hours of operation. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to pair wireless earbuds or headsets for a truly cord-free experience. An intuitive user interface with
four programmable buttons allows for advanced control, including functionalities for multichannel order networks, call alerts, or combined actions.
Cloud access is fully integrated, providing adaptability and flexibility. Two connected Geo Central Stations can manage up to
80 belt packs across sites, while three cloud-linked
Solidcom ANT01 units can handle up to
30 units, accommodating off-site coordinators, remote directors, or technical leads with ease. Additionally, the system offers real-time remote diagnostics and support, allowing authorized users to adjust system settings and configurations via a secure web browser, ensuring technical assistance and maintenance without needing on-site intervention.
In conclusion, Hollyland aims to provide users worldwide with a truly scalable, versatile, and boundary-less wireless communication platform with this new release. For more information on the products, visit
