This event witnessed participation from approximately 40 individuals, encompassing administrative and technical staff. The initiative was part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's program known as J-PEAKS, designed to cultivate individuals with the capability to create new value through knowledge application.
The goal of the Knowledge Sharing Event was to foster a culture where staff could collectively share challenges and discuss viable solutions. To amplify its impact, the university invited esteemed guests, Miki Samukawa and Junichi Nishiyama, representatives from Niigata University, who actively organize similar events. Their participation encouraged a robust feedback mechanism through discussions following the presentations of various knowledge topics.
During this event, our dedicated staff showcased seven themes, presenting innovative projects that included:

- - Initiatives from the Okayama Tech Garage
- - Designing event participation through ICT, reasonable considerations, and cross-sectional collaboration
- - A session titled "Work Like Play! - Incorporating Playfulness into Work" led by guests from Niigata University.
Each of these presentations provided insights into the countless ways knowledge can be utilized innovatively in an academic context. The exchange of experiences has empowered the participants to foster a mindset aligned with creating efficient solutions for complex issues.
Moreover, Okayama University is committed to promoting the development of knowledge workers as part of the overarching strategy included in J-PEAKS.
