Shawn Hall is well-prepared for this new chapter, boasting over 25 years of multifaceted experience in aerospace and defense. His career has been marked by a unique blend of operational expertise and a proven ability to scale companies effectively. As noted by PDW's CEO, James Slider, “Shawn has spent his career at the intersection of airpower, technology, and growth. Prior to joining PDW, Shawn Hall held an executive position at BETA Technologies, where he spearheaded growth initiatives across defense and commercial aircraft sectors. He also played a crucial role in mergers and acquisitions and was instrumental in the company’s impressive $7.4 billion initial public offering. His extensive background includes serving as an executive with BBA Aviation plc and as a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm’s Aviation Service Line.

Expressing his enthusiasm about joining PDW, Hall remarked, “PDW is constructing systems based on what operators truly require—agile capabilities, deployed swiftly, and produced at scale. Before his transition to the corporate realm, Hall dedicated 11 years to the U.S. Navy, flying F/A-18 Hornets and Super Hornets, and making two deployments to Iraq during significant military operations, including the initial airstrikes in 2003. His experience also includes serving as a tactics instructor pilot following his graduation from the Navy's TOPGUN program and leading various frontline operational and maintenance teams.

Shawn Hall holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. His academic credentials complement his extensive field experience and will be vital as he works to advance PDW’s strategic objectives.
