Nippon Chikudenchi Co., Ltd., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, recently announced the commencement of operations for its new grid-connected battery storage facility in Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture. This facility, officially called the "NC Masuda City Tada Town Battery Storage Station," began receiving power on July 10, 2026.
