Sushui Energy Technology Unveils Methanol Fuel Cells in the UK

Sushui Energy Technology, known as Sushui Tech, is set to make a significant impact in the energy sector with the introduction of its direct methanol fuel cell products during the British Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (BAPCO) event. Scheduled for March 5 and 6, 2025, in Coventry, this marks Sushui's first entry into the European market, showcasing its innovative technology at booth B19.

The company's range of all-terrain, all-weather power solutions features methanol fuel cell generators with a power output ranging from 50 to 200 watts. These products are designed with longevity, simple installation, minimal maintenance costs, low noise levels, and reduced carbon emissions—features that are highly beneficial for smart cities, intelligent construction sites, surveillance and security applications, smart forests, disaster monitoring, and public safety initiatives.

After a successful year of testing in Japan, Sushui Tech is exploring new markets with similar potential for its direct methanol fuel cell technology. According to Daniel Lou, the global marketing director of Sushui Tech, the UK market has shown a keen interest in their offerings. "We have received numerous inquiries from the security sector in the UK since last year, and that motivated us to select Coventry as our launchpad in Europe," Lou explains.

Sushui Tech's products cater to critical Internet of Things (IoT) applications, proven in environments ranging from tropical forests to deserts and tundras. The company's renewable energy solutions emphasize the importance of close relationships with customers, which they believe is pivotal for success across various markets. Lou further noted, "We are learning from our clients in the market to discover more opportunities for our technology and our business."

Following this initial launch, Sushui Tech plans to expand its presence into other European countries and significant global energy markets, including Southeast Asia and Oceania.
