KONZA National Network Partners in eLTSS Initiative
TOPEKA, Kan., April 24, 2025 – The KONZA National Network is thrilled to reveal its collaboration in the second phase of Missouri's Electronic Long-Term Services and Supports (eLTSS) Data Exchange Project. This important initiative aims to enhance the sharing of personal data, focusing on the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) throughout Missouri.
Building a Stronger Care Network
In partnership with the Missouri Division of Developmental Disabilities and several key players, including the Office of Administration's Information Technology Services Division and Patient Centric Solutions, KONZA's involvement is set to revolutionize the clinical landscape for those requiring specialized care. The eLTSS Project is designed to facilitate seamless access to vital care plans, enabling care teams to support individuals more effectively by sharing essential information in real-time.
Laura McCrary, President and CEO of KONZA, expressed her enthusiasm for the project, drawing from her decade of experience working with children who have special needs. "My time spent with these children has profoundly influenced my understanding of whole-person care. It's about recognizing and supporting the individual, not just their diagnosis. This initiative marks a significant advancement in fostering collaboration among care teams and delivering services that prioritize what is truly important to those receiving them,” she remarked.
Empowering Shared Knowledge
As part of this initiative, KONZA joins forces with other health information networks such as Velatura Public Benefit Corporation and the Tiger Institute for Health Innovation. Together, they aim to ensure that this progressive model of care coordination reaches healthcare providers and individuals statewide, enhancing the overall quality of services available to communities.
With a proven track record in health data interoperability and a commitment to FHIR-based technology solutions, KONZA is well-equipped to offer the necessary technical support and leadership to implement scalable, standards-compliant infrastructures that meet state and federal healthcare objectives.
Fostering Complete Care
The heart of this collaboration lies in its mission to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. By facilitating better data sharing and communication among care teams, KONZA's initiative is set to build healthier, more supportive communities where individuals with IDD can thrive.
