Exciting Updates for PSO2 New Genesis ver.2

On September 17, 2025, SEGA announced a significant update for `PSO2 New Genesis ver.2`, introducing a series of exciting new features, including the limited-time emergency quest titled "Resonating Twin Shadows in the Wetlands". The quest will be available from September 17, 2025, after maintenance, until October 1, 2025, when maintenance begins.

Players can expect to face two formidable enemies - Ruino Gryphon and Ruino Angel. Both enemies possess a special ability known as "Harmonizer", allowing them to respawn after a set amount of time unless taken down simultaneously. Therefore, players must strategize to balance their health, ensuring both enemies' health points are evenly matched for an effective takedown. Additionally, damaging the enemies will trigger unique gameplay mechanics, requiring players to adapt their strategies to successfully conquer the quest.

Updates to Luciel Exploration

The Luciel exploration mode has also received enhancements. With heightened enemy levels, players will experience an increase in challenges. New bosses, Ruino Anjeur and Ruino Granz, will make their appearances, bringing fresh combat dynamics. Players can leverage new capabilities to enhance their skills, including the option to use Photon Blast to equip a Mobile Cannon ALR temporarily, as well as a new ability that boosts the power of PA/Techniques while sacrificing HP, thereby rewarding skilled HP management with significant power boosts. Players are encouraged to experiment with these new features for an elevated gameplay experience.

Perfect Timing for the Costume GET Campaign

Another exciting addition is the "Super Dream Festival EX! Costume GET Campaign Vol. 2", which coincides with the update. This campaign will run concurrently from September 17, 2025, until October 1, 2025. Players can complete limited-time tasks, such as those in the Luciel Exploration and the new emergency quest, to earn rewards like 1 million N-Meseta and Star Gems. Additionally, players can acquire various costumes, including the Nahatiger T1-V2[Ba] and the Pipistrella V2[Ba]. Introduction of New Gear

Created with Special Ability Capsules available from the Item Lab, this ability will complement other enhancements like C/Bais Data, C/Lux Halfiniria, and C/Masis Halfiniria. NGS Season 48 Mission Pass

Entering its 48th season, the NGS Mission Pass offers luxurious rewards where players complete tasks to collect Stars and progress through tiers for corresponding rewards. This season continues to feature valuable items like My Shop Opening days and SG Scratch Item Exchange Tickets. More excitingly, accessories from Phantasy Star Online 2 such as Zeinesis Lita and Zeinesis Rem are set to make an appearance, along with a new Long Sword Earring.
