The stage is set for the highly anticipated BIO Asia-Taiwan 2025, running from July 23 to 27 at the TaiNEX 1 and 2 in Taipei's Nangang Exhibition Center. This year’s event, co-organized by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and the Taiwan Bio Industry Organization, marks an exciting expansion from previous conferences, aiming to foster deeper global engagement within the biotech community.

The theme of this year’s convention,
“Next Wave of Biotech Opportunities,” encapsulates the evolving landscape of the industry. With an expected attendance of biotech professionals from over 50 countries, BIO Asia-Taiwan is primed to be a melting pot of innovation and collaboration. New to the event this year is the addition of

In a bid to further support the burgeoning biotech startup scene in Taiwan, BIO Asia-Taiwan has integrated two major local initiatives: the National Biotechnology Research Park Demo Day and the TMU x BE x SCHS Demo Day. These initiatives underscore the commitment to facilitating international collaborations for Taiwan’s emerging biotech teams, with approximately 50 startups expected to present this year, drawing attention from industry leaders and investors alike.

Chairman Johnsee Lee of the BIO Asia-Taiwan Organizing Committee notes an expanded format for this year's
Investment Summit. Supported by the National Development Fund and Taiwan Stock Exchange, the summit offers unique opportunities for 30 carefully selected firms to connect with international investment experts.
The
Regional Collaboration Forum, in partnership with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will feature key speakers like Claire Skentelbery from the International Council of Biotechnology Associations, unveiling discussions on global biotech investments.
International delegations from Belgium, Thailand, and various other countries are expected to enhance the conversation, sharing insights into regional biopharma practices and investment potential.
